It is best to carry your own mat and props(if you need them) for hygiene reasons. Gofindyourself Yoga does not provide mats or props. In case you do not have a yoga mat, please inform Jyotsna 1 day prior so she can try and organise it for you.

1. A clean yoga mat that cushions your joints well & doesn't leave crumbs on the floor.
2. Yoga towel/cotton mat/yoga rug if you tend to sweat and your mat gets slippery.
3. A small towel to wipe off the sweat.
4. Bottle of water.
5. A case for your spectacles if you wear them & would like to take them off mid-practice. Placing them next to your mat is not the best idea.

- Modest dressing is a way of showing respect to the teacher and the Shala. Wear something comfortable to practice in, but also keep in mind that it should not distract others practising around you. Wearing a top is mandatory even for men.
- Avoid perfumes, deodorants and other cosmetics while practising since it can distract other students when practising. Instead, a shower before practice is a great way to feel fresh & prepare the body for movement.
- Avoid excessive body lotion/oil as it may make your practice slippery when you sweat.
- Avoid wearing jewellery (bangles, anklets..etc) that might clink or jingle during practice.

- 05
Ashtanga follows a specific sequence of postures that form each series (Primary, Intermediate, Advanced A&B) and, the practitioner moves through each series progressively. The sequence is designed to build strength, flexibility, and mental focus through a disciplined practice. In our classes we will focus on the Primary Series through Repetition, structure & deep exploration.

Yes! Yoga is not about being able to touch your toes, it is about what you learn on your way there. Flexibility varies from person to person; it will develop over time and with consistent practice. In our classes, the primary focus is on the breath. We will also focus on other aspects including and not limited to strength, mobility & mindful movement.
