Reiki works through light, intentional touch (or hands placed just above the body) to encourage deep relaxation and restore balance. The healing is done on the recipient at various points on their body, called chakras.​
Distant healing can be done at any time and place.
The recipient does not have to be near the healer - they can be in any part of the world. For this process, you may be requested for certain details of the recipient, like name, age, photograph, etc, to aid aide in healing.
